This workshop aims to uncover conscious or unconscious patterns that have been creating anxiety and to provide some practical tips to manage it especially during these stressful times.
For decades, anxiety has been one of the most common complaints towards health professionals. Anxiety is more than just feeling stressed or worried. The emotional basis for anxiety is fear. Unlike fear, which relates primarily to the past, anxiety is a future-oriented emotion. The physical manifestation of anxiety may be one of the more distressing features of the emotion. That's why anxiety is almost impossible to ignore. It can be even tougher to overcome on your own.
With the pandemic, we have almost turned to a fear-based community which does not help to manage the problem. My goal is to increase awareness around the issue to empower individuals to better manage the situation and eventually reduce the fear in the community.
There are so many management techniques available for anxiety out there. I summarise some of those techniques and strategies, and I believe one of them is for you.
My aim is to share some tips for managing anxiety during the pandemic and alternative remedies for anxiety management. I would also like to do an experiment with the audience and notice the change with the audience on the spot before finishing the seminar. Especially for the attendees who were anxious about their work, relationship, and health.
